The Fish Shed’s were amazing, our only wish is that we could have stayed longer! First class accommodations and hosts with one of the best views in Rocky Harbour - can’t wait to visit again next year.

Nothing better than waking up in the morning to nothing but the sound of the ocean waves! Chris and Analia were amazing hosts. They were available quickly for tips for places to eat/visit. They even provided some extra treats for our toddler on arrival. Such a nice personal touch. I would highly recommend this cottage to anybody planning a trip to Gros Morne!

Chris and Analia have created something really quite special in their corner of Rocky Harbour. The Fish Sheds are a collection of brand new cottages that are beautifully styled, thoughtfully accessorised and wonderful to stay in. An amazing view of the sunset over the water, and easy access to all the highlights of the park, adds to the appeal. Chris was great to deal with. Took the time out to meet us and walk us through our ‘shed’ and also all the local attractions and hikes. Can’t overstate how welcome we were made to feel, and just want a great experience it was to spend a few days here. Loved it!

The hosts were incredibly easy to communicate with before our arrival and even offered some amazing recommendations during our stay in St. John’s (Mallard Cottage is amazing, thanks Chris!). Upon arrival, the cottage was immaculate and we were greeted with a very nice basket of items to make our stay more comfortable. The cottage has everything you need including dishes, pots and pans, microwave and coffee maker. The bed and linens were super comfortable, a luxury after a day out in the park. The views are stunning, you can watch the sunset right from your kitchen window and enjoy a morning coffee in bed with a view of the ocean. We absolutely loved our time at the Fish Sheds and can’t wait for our next stay!

Read MoreThe fish sheds are incredible on many levels.Breathtaking views, perfectly located close to the little town’s main drag but completely private, so many fun things to do all within a really quick drive. Tons of great hikes of all difficulty levels - an outdoor paradise. We came with our 2 YO and there was a great nook to put his pack and play in the house, and Chris and Analia were kind enough to help us find a babysitter for one of the evenings. Probably not somewhere you could fit 2 kids, tho, just in case anyone was curious. The insides are bright, cozy and spic and span with a nice amount of amenities to feel at home. There’s literally not one single constructive thing to say about this spot, almost would rather not share it with the rest of the world, but that would just be mean ;)

A day of hiking topped off with a stay at our very own shed by the sea doesn’t get much better. This place is a gem and the owners define hospitality!! If you are planning to spend time in Gros Morne this is the place to stay.

Read MoreWhat an outstanding slice of heaven, perched on the cliff at the very edge of the harbour. Christopher and his girlfriend were super friendly hosts and check in was a breeze. The shed is even more strikingly beautiful in person and the sunsets at night pure magic (even if you don't get a full on sunset). You're only minutes to a nearby grocery store, small local shops, and restaurants (if you don't feel like cooking), so you have the best of all worlds. As funny as it may sound, my gf and I would argue over who got to do the dishes because the window directly in front frames the most dreamy scene of the grassy cliff edge and infinite blues of ocean and sky. The path behind the sheds leads to an incredible lookout of the seaway where you can read, whale watch, or just relax to the sounds of the ocean. We didn't see any whales (they may have moved on at the time of our stay), but a bald eagle was constantly scanning the bay above us, which was absolutely memorizing. Thanks for the perfect end to our Gros Morne stay. We couldn't have envisioned it any better and we'd stay here again in a heart beat!! :)
