Our story
We welcome you to our cozy, oceanfront boutique cottages in the most stunning location in the heart of Gros Morne National Park. We are located near all local restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues for your convenience. You can enjoy spectacular ocean views of Bonne Bay and the world-renowned Lobster Head Lighthouse straight from your window. Our facilities also have a wonderful view of Gros Morne Mountain and direct access to the beach. Take in the spectacular scenery and be engulfed in what we believe is the best view of Newfoundland's sunset.
We both met in South Korea seventeen years ago as professors at a university. Having long summer and winter vacations allowed us to travel extensively, meet incredible people, hear their remarkable stories, and stay at various types of unique accommodations worldwide. We hope to use our experiences to help you create your own wonderful memories.
In 2005, we were hiking towards Salmon Point, and we both stopped to enjoy the view of the incredible sunset by a property with a "For Sale" sign on it, and we wondered who the lucky buyer would be. Twelve years later, we were fortunate enough to become those lucky buyers somehow.
Our goal is to create an elegant but cozy experience for our guests and share the same magical sunset that once inspired this dream. We hope you thoroughly enjoy your stay at The Fish Sheds in Gros Morne National Park.
